Our philosophy at the Golden Lion is simply great food, excellent service in a warm and welcoming environment. By saying simply great food, that doesn't mean basic pub food; we have high standards! It means dishes cooked with skill and creatively presented. We eat with our eyes first, so we are passionate about your meal looking, as well as tasting simply divine. We boast an excellent variety of wines, Real Ales, one of which is locally brewed by the nearby Castle Brewery and is called The Golden Lion, beers, lagers and ciders. As well as soft drink and tea and coffee for those driving!
